"I asked for a refund and honestly..."
I asked for a refund and honestly... the whole process has been a mess. I kept getting passed from one person to another, and no one gave me a straight answer. I'm still waiting, which is just really frustrating at this point.

"Felt like a bait and switch with the billing"
I signed up thinking I knew what I was paying because my account page showed one amount, but then I got charged more. It wasn’t some massive difference, but it still left a bad taste, like a bait and switch where the number changes once they already have your card.
I reached out to support hoping they’d either explain it clearly or fix the charge, but the replies were slow and didn’t really answer anything. I’m not going to keep using MediaFire if I can’t trust what the billing page says

"Pretty good for the price"
Premium is affordable, and my uploads work fine most of the time. It’s not perfect, but overall I’m happy with it.

"A few of my files randomly disappeared..."
A few of my files randomly disappeared and I was stressed about it. I reached out to support expecting it to take forever, but they got back to me quicker than I thought. They explained what was going on and helped me sort out my account, which I really appreciated. It’s not perfect, but the way they handled it made a big difference. I’ve been using MediaFire for years, and I’d still recommend it to a friend as long as they keep backups like I do now

"Got my suspension fixed faster than I expected"
My account got suspended and I was expecting it to be a whole long mess. But support actually looked into it quickly, explained what happened, and got me back in without making it complicated. I was definitely annoyed at first, which I feel like is understandable, right? But overall, they handled it fairly

"Downloads are fine, but speed issues get brushed off"
Most of the time, my downloads go through without any real problems, so I’d say it’s reliable overall. They can be slow sometimes, though, and it kind of feels like whenever I bring that up, it gets brushed off like it’s not a big deal

"Trying to manage files feels weirdly chaotic"
I don’t know, using the file tools just feels all over the place. One minute I’m waiting on folders to load, then I’m trying to sort stuff and it doesn’t behave how I expect, and somehow moving a simple file turns into a whole little project. It’s not unusable, exactly, but it keeps pulling me out of whatever I was actually trying to do

"Previews are hit or miss"
MediaFire is fine for quick file previews, but it really depends on what you’re opening. Some images pop up without any issues, but PDFs or bigger files can be blurry or take forever to load. Half the time I still end up downloading the file just to make sure it’s the right one. And when something doesn’t work, the generic canned apology messages don’t really help much. It’s not awful, just not as smooth as it should be. Good enough for a quick look, I guess

"Finally, links that just work"
I’m kind of tired of dealing with services that make every download feel like a chore, so mediafire has been a relief for me. I use their links often and they usually open without any drama—no random error pages or broken links popping up. Downloads start fast enough, and overall it’s been reliable in my experience.

"I’ve been using mediafire when I need to..."
I’ve been using mediafire when I need to share files with friends, it’s been simple and straightforward. The uploads didn’t take very long for me, which was nice because I didn’t feel like I was sitting around waiting forever. Once the file was uploaded, I could just grab the link and send it over, and that was basically it. There weren’t a bunch of confusing steps or settings I had to mess with, which I really appreciate. It’s just a handy option when I need to move something quickly and don’t want to overcomplicate the whole process.

"Downloads are a little slow, but manageable"
The downloads do take a bit longer than I’d like, and the wait can be kind of annoying. It’s not a dealbreaker for me, though, just something I noticed. Curious if other people are seeing the same thing or if it’s just on my end

"Overall, I’m happy with the..."
Overall, I’m happy with the MediaFire app. I mainly use it on my phone to keep photos and a few files handy when I’m not on my laptop, and it’s been easy to use. It opens quickly enough, uploads from my phone have been smooth, and sharing links is simple, I just copy the link and send it. I haven’t run into any major problems so far. The ads show up sometimes, but they’re not too annoying

"Folders are alright, but things get cluttered"
Mediafire works okay for putting files into folders and keeping stuff saved, but once you upload a bunch of things it starts feeling kind of messy. Moving files around does work, it’s just not always as smooth as I’d want. I do wish sorting folders and actually finding things was a little easier. It’s not bad, just kinda average for me.

"Fast downloads. Nice."
I’ve used mediafire a few times now, the download speeds have been solid. Files start downloading right away and don’t really slow down much. Smooth. No complaints from me.

"Handled my big files without much fuss"
I uploaded a few large zip files and thought, okay, let’s see if this is where things get annoying. But it worked fine. The speed dipped once for a bit, which made me wonder if it was going to stall, but the links stayed active and sharing them was simple enough. Overall, it did what I needed without making a whole thing out of it.

"Canceling felt harder than it should’ve been"
Canceling was more annoying than I expected. It took me way too long to find the cancel button, which feels like a basic thing that should be easy to access

"Works well, but the ads get frustrating"
I’ve used MediaFire a bunch for downloading and sharing files, and it does the job well. Downloads are usually quick for me, which I appreciate. That said, the ads can be really annoying sometimes, especially with pop-ups and random buttons that make it hard to tell what to click. I still use it when I need to, but I do wish the site felt a little cleaner and less cluttered

"It’s fine, but the takedowns are confusing??"
It works okay overall, but the copyright strikes feel kind of random sometimes?? Like I’m not always sure what triggered them. Support does respond, but it can take a while, which makes the whole thing a bit frustrating.

MediaFire Q&A

I'm uploading the file "80.34%" and got "1.31%", it scammed me

how much give for every download?

If I upload file on mediafire,is it deleted when file is inactive? Or how much give for every download by users or public?

Someone installed this on my phone, and used it. Could they have possibly been able to help themselves to MY account information on things I have stored on my phone?
